Although obtaining a gun license is not easy, there are more and more hunters. Currently, we can boast of over 130,000 hunters in Poland. Their number has increased by almost 1/4 in the last 10 years. And every year, the Polish Hunting Association records from 4 to 5 thousand new members. What does it mean? Among other things, more and more hunting will be organized. What role does the base of hunting quarters play in this respect?
Hunting in accordance with the traditions of Warmia and Mazury
One of the traditions associated with hunting in the areas of Warmia and Mazury is the craft of a guide. What does this role involve? A guide is a person who prepares appropriate hunting conditions. However, it takes care not only of the technical side of hunting – its task is also to provide accommodation for hunting participants or care for the condition of hunting grounds. It was with this role in mind that the project to create a modern base of hunting quarters was created. An innovative solution for providing residential and living infrastructure is a response to the growing interest in the subject of hunting.
Base of hunting quarters – a project that allows for comfortable accommodation of hunting participants
Hunting involves numerous safety rules. Compliance with them is of great importance, after all, we are dealing with weapons. The obligation to pay attention to even the smallest signals and the need to be extremely vigilant mean that for many hunters, taking care of organizational facilities – e.g. appropriate accommodation – can be quite a challenge. Therefore, they prefer to entrust it to others.
For this purpose, an innovative design of a base of mobile hunting quarters was created, which can be set up in almost any area. Energy-saving hunting bases will be designed to facilitate preparation for hunting. However, this is not the end of their role – they will also support the organization of thematic tourism and will become an important element of continuing hunting and hunting traditions in the region.
Rental of modern hunting quarters
Smart Specializations is an idea proposed by the European Commission in the Europe 2020 Strategy. Its task is to promote the development of regions by supporting various sectors of the economy – investment in their operation may turn out to be an important element of the region’s development. The project of creating a base of hunting quarters and restoring the tradition of using the craft of a guide is perfectly in line with these values. Within the Smart Specializations, four areas have been distinguished. One of them is the “Water economy”, and its important element is accommodation and wellness. Resting in the bosom of nature and the possibility of taking advantage of regeneration treatments are also part of the assumptions of the project related to the creation of mobile hunting bases.
The preservation of biodiversity is one of the fundamental aspects of sustainable forest management. Just like caring for animals, trees, natural nurseries and refuges or forest cover. Mobile and energy-saving hunting bases will allow for the proper organization of hunting groups in the forest environment. At the same time, they will enable the further development of hunting and hunting traditions in the region, and will also contribute to supporting thematic tourism in the country.
